POSITION: Bookkeeper / Office Manager
LOCATION: Bozeman, MT
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday
PAY: Competitive Compensation, D.O.E.

We are looking for a Bookkeeper / Office Manager to ensure that daily processes are completed accurately and timely. This position will be directly responsible for a diverse set of administrative tasks, including but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, order entry, timekeeping, new hire documentation and orientation, and reception. This position will also work with branch management to ensure that processes for order entry, receiving, manufacturing, and other disciplines are followed. Our ideal candidate is organized and detail-oriented with excellent multitasking, communication, administrative, and customer service skills.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Keep management informed by reviewing and analyzing daily and monthly reports, summarizing information, identifying trends, and initiating corrective action
• Work as a liaison for Human Resources and coordinating information related to employee benefits, employee handbook information, and company policies
• Responsible for complete and accurate submission of new hire paperwork, termination documentation, timekeeping, and time off submission for all branch associates
• Maintain branch level personnel files as required
• Contribute to team effort by building relationships with branch management to ensure company processes are followed and assists in implementing new and modified procedures
• Coordinate outside services, drug screenings, janitorial services, etc.; purchase office supplies and tracks expenses to not exceed budget levels
• Understand and observe all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field and five years of relevant experience; or any combination of education, training, or experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Problem solving involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Knowledge of business mathematics
• Aptitude to research and resolve issues
• Strong ability to negotiate, persuade and influence others internal and external to the company
• Proven ability to multi-task, respond effectively to conflicting priorities and ensure project deadlines and deliverables are met
• Attention to detail
• Able to successfully work independently with limited management oversight
• Distribution, manufacturing, or light industrial experience highly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour
