An exciting opportunity has become available for an Area Finance Manager to join our Finance team based in our Sydney Office.

You will be responsible for providing full financial and accounting support for our Southern Portfolio.

Reporting to our Regional Financial Controller – in this role you will;

• Work with and maintain constructive relationships with property GMs and their teams in the operation of all properties
• Development of financial procedures and analysis to support property initiatives
• Establishment and management of appropriate accounting controls and procedure to maintain the integrity and manage business risks. Ensure compliance with Group and local operating procedures
• Advises the Regional Financial Controller on evolving operating/financial issues
• Monitor internal controls and report discrepancies as necessary
• Implements best practice procedures for finance reporting systems

What we need from you

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• CA/CPA qualifications
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• The ability to work under pressure
• Experience across multiple outlets would be an advantage
• Have immaculate professional presentation and personal grooming
