Job Description

The role of the Sales & Revenue Analyst is to maintain and enhance automation of the sales and revenue management databases in order to maximize productivity and record/analyze results. Accurately generate and process s for resort management, Fairmont corporate and owner review. Analyze data generated and compile results in business format.

• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
• Actively participate as a revenue team member in developing and monitoring sales & pricing strategies
• Assist with checking and compiling competitor strategy on a regular basis, reviewing pricing and their availability
• Provides critical analysis of chosen strategies, room statistics, space availability and general demand factors to ensure the most effective and efficient balance between demand and availability
• Produce weekly forecasts for trend analysis and decision support
• Assists Director of Sales and Director of Revenue Management in completion and analysis of weekly, monthly and quarterly s
• Ensure relevant revenue issues are investigated and analyzed and identify potential new opportunities to improve revenue management

Qualifications

• Previous experience is an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

• Strong organization and follow-through skills
• Ability to maintain and strengthen relationships with internal clients
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Understanding of hotel structure and sales organization desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.
• Proficiency in Opera S&C and Opera PMS an asset
• College degree preferred (statistics, business or hotel administration)
• Strong mathematical skills required.
