About the role

We are now recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst (Fixed Assets) to join our global Finance team. Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager, the Senior Finance Analyst is working as part of the Corporate Finance team, and focused on maintaining the Company’s fixed-asset register and capital expenditure reporting. We are seeking an experienced financial analyst to work as part of a close-knit team to deliver on end to end fixed- asset expenditure reporting.

You can be based in our Adelaide office, with flexibility to work from home.

This role is full-time and permanent.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain and accurately report on the fixed asset register
• Monthly/quarterly reporting of capital expenditure
• Forecast depreciation expense for annual budgets and strategic plans
• Reporting on capital cashflow expenditure
• General ledger account reconciliations
• Preparation of annual statutory accounts disclosures

What you’ll bring:

• 5-7 years experienced working in Financial Accounting and Reporting roles.
• Passionate about maintaining financial reporting on fixed-assets, with experience highly desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including interacting with different levels of seniority.
• High attention to detail with the ability to think end-to-end on behalf of the customer and work with a sense of purpose
• Proactive mindset (engaging & impact-oriented) anticipating needs and issues.
• Business acumen and very good numerical and analytical skills
• CA or CPA qualified or in final stages of completion.
• Hold a Bachelor of Commerce or similar finance or accounting degree.
• Strong MS-Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), proficient in MS Office.
• The ability to write robust reports and recommendations for a C-suite audience
• Autonomy and the flexibility to execute on strategy as well as deliver excellent hands-on work
• Proactivity, excellent organisational skills and a passion for wine!
