About the role

As a leader within the finance function, you will play an integral part in shaping the strategic direction and performance of the finance function. You will partner closely with the Finance leaders, SLT, GM’s and other key stakeholders across the business to provide timely and accurate information to support commercial decision-making.

You will be highly competent in working amongst large data sets to pull together robust and insightful recommendations to drive business performance. As a genuine business partner, you able to build strong relationships across the business and have demonstrated experiencing in building, coaching, and leading a high performing team.

Technically astute, you will have demonstrated success improving management and performance reporting through efficient systems and reporting tools. Excitingly, Accolade Wines is investing heavily in upgrading its IT infrastructure over the upcoming years and this role is pivotal to ensuring its success.

You will based in our Adelaide Office, with flexibility to work from home.

This role is full-time and permanent .

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage delivery of the Annual Commercial COGS standards setting process across ANZ and contribute to rolling long term Global strategic plan.
• Manage multiple business drivers and initiatives to deliver ANZ cash requirements (through inventory) and COGS in line with budget.
• Act as a Gatekeeper between Operations and Commercial for COGS and NPD.
• Contribute to the Value Creation agenda, working closely with business leaders to deliver strategic plan.
• Total ownership of the Costing ERP systems, costing database and annual cost roll-up process.
• Deliver best in class financial and performance management practices; drive cultural change within finance and operations and support future system upgrade projects.
• Build, coach and lead a high performing team.

What you’ll bring:The successful candidate will have:

• 10 + years’ standard cost and manufacturing accounting experience in medium to large commercial industries
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to present complex financial concepts to build commercial awareness and understanding
• A track record in building and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders, understanding the objectives of all parties and identifying the associated risk and opportunities
• Strong influencing capability
• Experience in planning and delivering value by proactively supporting successful project delivery
• Strong MS Excel skills with exposure to modern ERP financial systems (JDE preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and efficient time management skills
• University degree in accounting/finance or related discipline
• CA/CPA professional accreditation preferred
