We are now recruiting for an Accounting Assistant to join our global Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Treasury Analyst, you will be responsible for the daily processing and reconciliation of the global bank accounts as well as other treasury team support.

You will be based in our Adelaide CBD office, with flexibility to work from home in this full-time permanent opportunity.

Key responsibilities include

• Daily global bank account data processing and reconciliations
• Arrange approval and lodgment of bank documentation as required
• Work with many other teams in the business to improve processes
• Maintain and execute any amendments to the global banking signatories
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly general ledger reconciliations.
• Preparation and processing of ad hoc payments
• Assist with monthly reporting
• Sundry other duties as required.

What you’ll bring

• Practical accounting knowledge from either work experience and/or tertiary studies
• The ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in a team
• High level of attention to detail
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient with the preparation of journals and reconciliations
• Bachelor in Accounting or similar degree will be highly regarded
• Previous experience in JD Edwards will be highly regarded
