Acciona Hiring for Junior Recruiter Job at Sydney Full Time

The Acciona Ferrovial Joint Venture (AFJV) is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Junior Recruiter to join the Sydney Metro West – Central Tunnelling Package (CTP) Project, to assist with our white-collar and blue-collar recruiting activities.

As a Junior Recruiter, you will play an important role in assisting the Resourcing Advisor identify and onboard the best talent for our roles.

In this role, you will be introduced to the various forms of recruitment, educated on how to quickly identify the characteristics of a qualified candidate, as well as being trained on how to manage the recruitment process effectively.

This role will ideally suit someone who is looking for an entry-level pathway into the Recruitment field or looking to further develop their skillset with a top-tier company.

• Proactively identify roles available for recruitment within the Staff Forecast
• Work with each Hiring Manager to understand their needs in a successful candidate
• Visit the Project’s construction sites with the Resourcing Advisor, to gain an understanding of the works being conducted and build strong relationships with Hiring Managers
• Utilise various recruitment platforms to attract suitable candidates
• Manage the responses for each advertisement and conduct resume reviews and pre-interview screens
• Conduct candidate interviews and detailed references on all shortlisted candidates
• Build a strong relationship with all successful candidates and ensure the recruitment process runs smoothly
• Participate in networking campaigns and external recruitment events to identify and attract potential talent pools
• Work strategically with the HR Team to develop and implement effective talent acquisition and retention strategies

• Tertiary Education in Human Resources / Business / Communications or are willing to undertake a qualification
• General Construction Induction (White Card) or are willing to attain one
• Microsoft Office Suite proficient
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
