Job Description
ACCIONA is seeking a Human Resource Coordinator with a passion for HR systems to join our Brisbane, QLD based team. Working alongside the Regional Human Resource Manager and the Human Resource Advisor, the Human Resource Coordinator will be heavily involved in the Company’s HRIS (Workday) and be responsible for providing support and advice on generalist HR policy & practices as well as offering solutions in accordance with organisational priorities.
As the HR Coordinator you will provide support across the entire workforce (including both white and blue-collar workforces) and will be crucial in the successful administration and delivery of recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and wellbeing programs. Furthermore, you will contribute to the development and implementation of agreed HR strategies and projects to create and maintain an engaged workforce.

  • Attractive Salary of $85,000 – $100,000 plus Superannuation, eligibility for Annual Performance Bonus, Salary Packaging options and Employer provided Income Protection Insurance
Your key objectives will include:
  • Work with the HR Manager and key stakeholders in the business to provide timely and solutions focused advice and support on all human resources matters
  • Participate in all activities relating to the employee lifecycle, including contract and letter generation, employee onboarding, internal employee transfers, professional development, and offboarding – ensuring consistency across all projects
  • Ensure employee data is accurate and up to date across a range of systems including data entry and maintenance within our HRIS “Workday” as well as other internal systems
  • Support the ongoing development and implementation of employment programs including but not limited to the Company’s undergraduate / graduate/ professional placement programs
  • Preparation of Monthly reporting, visual dashboards and undertake data analysis (strong MS Excel skills will be beneficial)
  • Support the delivery and successful implementation of a range of global and local Acciona HR and training initiatives
Required Skills and Competencies
To be suitable for this role you will have completed a degree in Human Resources, or a relevant discipline, with prior generalist HR experience in a medium to large sized business (Civil Construction experience being highly desirable). In order to “hit the ground running” in this role, you’ll need excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and the ability to manage your time. To become the HR systems “expert”, you will benefit from experience in, and a passion for, HR systems (Workday experience would be of particular benefit) and pride in ensuring data integrity.
