Job Description
Our Engineering business has recently been strengthened through the acquisitions of Lendlease Engineering and the Geotech Group, positioning ACCIONA as a leading provider of engineering services within the infrastructure sector. We provide services to public and private clients with a focus on Roads, Bridges and Tunnels, Rail and Civil Infrastructure projects.
ACCIONA is looking to engage a Finance Analyst to join the Southern region Finance team which looks after projects in Victoria, South Australia and New Zealand. The team works closely to ensure that financial outcomes of our project are reported accurately and in a timely manner.
Key tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with the maintenance of project ledgers and forecasting future revenue and costs.
- Support the compilation of project level financial results and bid spend for monthly management reporting
- Review and resolve reconciliations of SAP to other finance systems
- Responsible for relevant finance system administration across a collection of projects, including journal preparation and posting, invoice payments, billing events and balance sheet reconciliations
- Liaising with corporate and project finance teams.
Required Skills and Competencies
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in financial reporting, analytics or a related field, preferably within the
construction industry
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance/Accounting and working towards post tertiary qualifications
which include CA, CPA or CFA qualifications
- Strong excel skills and previous experience with ERP Systems in medium/large companies
- An ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment working both autonomously and as part of a team
