Job Description
ACCIONA are seeking a to engage a Co-ordinator, Organisation, Talent and Wellbeing for our HR Team. Based in the Sydney office & reporting to the Regional HR Manager, this role is responsible for providing support in all generalist Human Resource activities. The role primarily requires you to deliver operational Human Resource support to line managers across the Company and provide the full range of general Human Resource services and activities.
Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Support the workforce planning requirements, strategy and demobilisation plans
  • Administration of transactional HR activities (including but not limited to Letters of offer, job changes etc.)
  • Support resourcing for the mobilisation of major projects as required
  • Support the transfer of internal candidates between projects, regions and business units as required
  • Support the Training team regarding inductions, training needs, delivery and records management as required
  • Support the development and implementation of employment programs including ACCIONA’s internship/professional placement program and graduate program
  • Coordinate the onboarding and induction process of new employees and interstate transfers, requiring excellent internal customer service to make their onboarding as smooth as possible
  • Support the Regional Human Resources Manager and business stakeholders on providing advice on all employment relations matters and in facilitating redundancies, terminations and demobilisations
  • Support tender submissions by providing relevant data and writing proposals as they relate to Human Resources, Training, Industry Capability and Inclusion (ICI)/state development requirements and Industrial Relations
  • Support the development and implementation of Human Resources and other business initiatives as required, in particular diversity, social sustainability, workforce participation and local programs as they relate to Indigenous employment and other priority job seeker categories
  • Assist with Company survey processes and team engagement initiatives as required
  • Support the establishment and implementation of Human Resource policies and procedures
  • Contribute to regular monthly corporate and project reporting on workforce profile, vacancies, people and social inclusion initiatives, etc.
Required Skills and Competencies
You will have completed a Bachelor’s degree, or tertiary qualification in Human Resources, or similar with proven experience in a similar generalist HR coordinator role. High attention to detail with the ability to problem solve and take initiative will be essential for success in this role, as will the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders. Prior experience in a medium – large sized business will enable you to ‘hit the ground runnig’ in this role; and an understanding of Construction and Engineering is highly beneficial.
