AccessLex Institute Hiring for Grader at Remote Full Time

Did you wish your bar review company gave you feedback that was forward looking and growth-oriented? Come join the team that does just that. Helix Bar Review by AccessLex is building its pool of skilled and knowledgeable essay graders for the 2022 bar exam.

Helix Bar Review by AccessLexSM is looking for experienced graders to help grade 3 Essays and 2 Multistate Performance Tests as contract work during June and July of 2022 for students enrolled in our bar review course. Nonprofit AccessLex Institute and its affiliate nonprofit, Helix Bar Review, work to increase access and further the success of aspiring lawyers from admission to law school to admission to the bar.

Graders will be trained in providing growth-oriented feedback and will be provided with model answers and grading grids for each assignment.

Graders will be paid $18 per MPT and $15 per essay and must be able to turn around assignments within two business days. Most assignments will be turned in on Fridays, so weekend work is expected.

As a grader, you will be able to choose the number of assignments you grade, but you will be expected to grade at least 20-25 of each assignment.

Commitment to the mission of AccessLex Institute.

J.D.

Bar passage in any state.

Excellent writing and grading skills.

Ability to communicate in writing effectively and directly.

Proven ability to provide feedback on student work.

Ability and willingness to meet short deadlines.

High-level ability to self-start and work independently.
