Job Overview
Position Overview : The Construction Foreman will work closely with the superintendent and project manager to oversee construction projects and ensure their successful completion.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in supervising and coordinating construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task assignment.
- Learn and follow safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
- Assist in coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Monitor project progress, ing any issues or concerns to senior management.
- Assist in managing construction materials and equipment, ensuring they are utilized efficiently and effectively.
- Learn and implement construction techniques and best practices under the guidance of experienced foremen.
- Participate in training and mentorship programs to develop leadership and technical skills.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily s, progress updates, and material inventories.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any questions or concerns.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong desire to learn and develop skills in the construction industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic understanding of construction processes and techniques is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment and outdoor conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
