Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for all accounting, reporting and financial planning and analysis activities for ANZ
• On-going development and training of the finance team with a focus on delivering “best practices” across finance as a whole
• Overseeing and responsible for the production of periodic management reporting and improving analysis, commentary and business decision support capabilities
• Direct accounting, tax, reporting, banking, treasury, internal/external audits and compliance activities
• Synthesize and forecast data and turn them into meaningful intelligence and actionable insights for the business
• Work with and advise the management team on solid financial decision-making to increase profits and minimize losses
• Set finance strategy to optimize business processes by assessing business needs and developing, proposing, and implementing solutions
• Provide strategic financial planning advice to management for long-term growth
• Establish internal work processes for the financial department and monitor their progress
• Advise management team on financial, operational, and strategic issues
• Have a clear understanding of and adhere to accounting standards and auditing regulations
• Act as a liaison to the Group reporting team and partner with the shared service center on the implementation of best practices

Key Requirements

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive experience in leadership and people management positions
• Preferred proficiency in NetSuite ERP
• FMCG industry and/or international experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills with the propensity to successfully foster new and maintain long-standing business relationships
• Ability to prioritize and delegate responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner
• Outstanding integrity, solid moral judgment, and the ability to make important decisions under pressure
