Job description

The opportunity:

We are ideally looking to hire a Certified Dental Receptionist. We are open to hiring a new dental receptionist with no experience but willing to learn. The successful candidate will have a passion for building strong patient relationships and contributing to their ongoing oral health. Join an organization making a difference in the community.

Responsibilities:
Booking and confirming dental appointments. Processing dental insurance claims. Establishes strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour
Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations

Demonstrate active listening and empathy to patients using effective communication skills

Requirements:
Dental reception course an asset but not required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Cleardent software an asset but not required.

Must be available for 8 hour shift beginning at 7:30am or ending at 7pm. One weekend day a month.

Hepatitis A and B vaccination an asset but not required. A willingness to be cross-trained for dental assisting preferred.

Salary: $34,000.00-$44,000.00 per year

Salary: $17.00-$22.00 per hour

Benefits start after 3 months of probation.
