ACCEL Schools is seeking is seeking a highly motivated Virtual Coach to to provide instructional coaching to teachers in grades K-12 in a remote/distance format.

The Virtual Coach is crucial to their success.

The Virtual Coach provides ongoing academic support and professional development to teachers in grades K-12. Daily tasks may include the following:

• Conduct 30-minute virtual observations of teachers’ lessons, followed by debriefs conducted via video chat.
• Lead building calls with each partner school to keep leadership apprised of teacher needs and progress.
• Provide resources and strategies to teachers to help them improve their practice.
• Maintain detailed records, such as for observations, time spent supporting teachers, and communication exchanged with teachers.
• Write articles for the monthly instructional newsletter.
• Analyzing assessment data to determine instructional effectiveness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education
• Valid teaching certificate
• Minimum 2 years experience as a classroom teacher
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including: OneDrive, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
