Acara solutions is looking for Software Engineer for our client located in Palmdale, CA
- Applicant will be the software developer responsible for embedded software definition, design, development and integration to support real-time embedded avionics software projects.
- The applicant will be responsible for designing, coding, testing and integrating software.
- Develop, analyze, integrate, and test embedded software for the Systems Integration team.
- Contribute to software requirements, design, code, reviews, and test of operational flight programs.
- Modeling and simulation efforts.
- Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
- Development of real-time systems or use of real-time operating systems (RTOS)
Pay and Benefits:
- The Salary for this position between $ 35.00 and $120.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum of 11 years experience in C or C++
- Minimum of 11 years experience in Developing software for embedded systems with hw/sw integration
- Minimum of 11 years experience in software development process in a team environment (peer reviews, unit testing, configuration management, defect tracking)
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree
- Minimum of 9 years experience in C or C++
- Minimum of 9 years experience in Developing software for embedded systems with hw/sw integration
- Minimum of 9 years experience in software development process in a team environment (peer reviews, unit testing, configuration management, defect tracking)
- Experience with C
- Good oral and written communication skills needed as is the ability to flex and adapt in a fast-paced team environment.
- Good presentation skills.
