What You’ll Do

We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to build tools to improve the experience for thousands of apprentices and mentors who use the Acadium marketplace monthly.

You will report to the Lead Engineer and the Product Manager working on product at Acadium. This is a full stack position on a relatively greenfield project that can immediately add business value in an area of the business that is critical to growth.

The brief is to build the tooling we need to improve product for our users. This person will gather requirements, define the technical architecture, implement it and report back what opportunities we are missing. You will be given a great deal of autonomy and the support to make this role a success.

What You Need to Be Successful

Strong English fluency, writing and oral communication skills.

Must Have

3+ years of software development experience,

Strong knowledge of JavaScript ES5/ES6 programming,

Experience in HTML5, CSS (SCSS/SASS)

Experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks (React, Vue.js, AngularJS),

Building production ready software applications,

Architecture of backends with RESTful APIs,

Passionate about technology and pushing the norms.

Nice to Have

Showcase of your experience (website/mobile app),

Experience with modern deployment, Docker, micro-service architectures,

Experience in Data science, TensorFlow, Pytorch, AI, Blockchain,

Experience in AWS Cloud Platform and familiarity with AWS Core services,
