What’s your purpose:
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Talent Lead who wants to help us shape the future of the industry. Partner with hiring managers to ensure the successful hire of quality candidates. Ensure a great candidate experience supporting them all the way through to a smooth onboarding process.

What you’ll do:
The Talent Lead is pivotal to Academy Xi’s next phase of growth and will primarily focus on leading recruitment requirements, from attraction, assessment and selection of the highest calibre candidates.

• Leverage passive sourcing techniques to identify & headhunt quality inactive candidates
• Build, manage and maintain talent pools from both the passive and active job seeker market
• Determine the most effective recruitment strategies with hiring managers for each job
• Provide hiring manager support throughout the entire recruitment lifecycle, including preparing position descriptions, advertisements, interview guides; as well as conducting screening, interviews and references checks
• Manage the onboarding process including induction & orientation to ensure an exceptional employee experience
• Work closely with the growth team to lead talent branding content, initiatives and related projects
• Ensure the quality of hiring, including the measuring & reporting of the successful hire rate
• Conduct new employee check-in surveys and interviews to ensure great employee experience & engagement
• Ensure continuous improvement by conducting exit interviews, assessing the data and identify initiatives to remedy
• Support the maintenance of our great culture by ensuring purpose & culture fit. As well as supporting diversity & inclusion initiatives.

Who you are:
You will bring with you your diverse experience recruiting across various verticals and job families, ideally with education and or digital industry experience.

• You have passion and extensive experience in creating meaningful experiences and build strong relationships with leaders and employees
• You will have at least 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in-house for leading digital businesses. However agency experience will still be highly regarded.
• Strong communication skills to support and connect with a diverse team
• Experience or insights into what makes a great culture and identifying excellent talent
• Demonstrate strong capability partnering with stakeholders and taking initiative
• A strong consultative nature and customer centric approach
• Be resilient, adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced agile environment
