Academy of Art University is seeking a full-time, remote-based Training Specialist for the Online Education Services department.

In this role, the Training Specialist will support with:

• Writing, editing, and creating all Online Education training content in multiple modalities.
• Scheduling, organizing, and delivering trainings in multiple modalities.
• Facilitation of thorough communication among audience groups to support implementation of material.
• Coordinating and delivering training materials to students, faculty, and staff.
• Organizing and managing focus groups and user feedback sessions to ensure continuous improvement and success of trainings.
• Assisting Online Education Leadership with audience adoption, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Possess a bachelor’s degree and two years of experience in a similar role.
• A flexible and solutions-oriented professional with demonstrated ability to motivate others.
• Lead effective meetings and provide feedback that is clear, objective, and helpful.
• Possess superior organizational and prioritization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication. Must be able to communicate basic and complex information and processes to a broad audience.
• Understand the steps necessary to measure success and can implement opportunities for improvement.
• Knowledgeable with calendaring and scheduling (Outlook, Zoom, etc.).
• Familiarity with screen-recording software such as Camtasia or iShowU.
• Comfortable running group trainings as well as providing one-on-one support.
• Background in Instructional Design and/or Education.
• Experience with Brightspace, Kaltura, misc. image markup tools are a plus.
