• The Academy for Mathematics & English tutors students from SK to Grade 12 in Math & English, and Grades 11 & 12 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. We are currently recruiting Enthusiastic & Knowledgeable candidates at our Milton location to be our junior and senior tutors for Physics, Chemistry, Math, and Biology.

Job Description – Senior Math / Senior Sciences

• Must be able to tutor one or more of the following subject areas:
• Senior Math: Geometry/Algebra/Trig, Calculus & Vectors, Advanced Functions
• Science tutors: Physics and/or Chemistry / Biology

– Sessions are held in the afternoon, evenings and/or weekends

– Tutors work with the same students on a daily/weekly basis

– These are permanent part-time positions

– Tutors are not required to prepare lesson plans and the teaching curriculum is provided

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a degree in the related fields or currently studying in them
• Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English
• A minimum of 1 year tutoring experience is preferred
• Candidates must be available Monday to Friday from 4:00pm to 8:30pm and Saturday from 10:00am to 1:30pm. (Minimum of 3 days per week)
• Applicants who do not live in the Milton area or within 20 minutes of Milton, will not be considered
