Academics are seeking Cover Supervisors for some of the amazing secondary schools that we are working with in and around the Margate areas to keep up with the ever increasing demand in covering absent teachers. Day to Day, long term and permanent roles available which can be offered to suitable applicants on a part and full time basis.

What is a Cover Supervisor?

Suitably Trained school staff who supervise pupils carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff are absent. Their main job is to manage a classroom of students ensuring they remain on task and complete the work they have been set.

What qualities do you need to become a Cover Supervisor?

This role can include:

• Managing Pupil Behaviour and implement the school’s behaviour policy when required
• Being Flexible and able to provide Cover over multiple year groups and subjects
• Keeping students on task to complete work
• Be able to provide 1:1 support and answer questions about processes and procedures in line with the school policy.
