We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Employee Relations professional to join our fast-growing, multi-award winning business, where you will take a leading ER role in our People Shared Services team. As our Employee Relations Manager, you will work closely with all departments across the organisation to provide expert advice, support and guidance across the full spectrum of Employee Relations – from absence and performance management to more complex issues such as whistleblowing, employment tribunals and supporting with organisational redesign and TUPE.

Every day you will…
Provide expert advice on best practice and manage all aspects of Employee Relations including disciplinary, grievance, absenteeism, redundancy & restructure, TUPE and dismissal procedures
Be the first point of escalation for the Employee Relations team on advice, appeals and more complex ER matters
Confidently deliver training events / masterclasses and briefings on Employee Relations upskilling to line managers.
Advise on ACAS Early Conciliation and mediation and Employment Tribunal claims as well as representation at Employee Appeal Tribunals if necessary and responding to ET1.
Support People Partners with all aspects of TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment) in line with legislation
Build trusted relationships to enhance collaboration and cooperation.
Coach and mentor Employee Relations advisors and support development within the role

To thrive in this role, you must ideally have…
Strong working knowledge of Employment Law and Employee Relation cases
A hands-on experience of tackling ER matters
Strong influencing skills with various stakeholders
Strong analytical skills and be able to gather and analyse information, problem-solve, and make decisions.
Experience of reviewing company policies procedures and T&Cs
CIPD Qualified or degree equivalent
