This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with extensive and proven HR and Payroll experience, ideally within the care sector. You will take overall responsibility for the payroll function, alongside delivering timely, accurate, effective and proactive support to the Group Head of HR. Providing advice and guidance on all areas of HR including ensuring effective and compliant HR practices

Please note that this role will require an element of travel so a full driving license is essential

What your daily duties may look like as a HR & Payroll Advisor;

• Provide initial HR support and guidance to the Care Home Administrators and Managers, in relation to topics such as absence and lower-level performance concerns in line with company policy
• Provide regular HR KPI reports to the Group Head of HR, relating to sickness absence, turnover, training statistics and any other reports where relevant
• Oversee, monitor and manage the agency request process and usage
• Gathering and inputting data, maintaining up to date full HR compliance of HR Audits for each home
• Manage the administration of variations to contracts
• Monitor and follow up on induction and e-learning activity
• Reviewing timesheets for all staff across the group every week
• Working with our external accountancy firm in handling the full 4-weekly payroll cycle;
• Submitting hours worked for the group
• Reviewing leavers and starters
• Collating sick notes and checking SSP eligibility
• Processing additional payments (i.e. mileage or bonuses)

What we can offer you as a HR & Payroll Advisor;

• Full time, permanent contract (40 hours a week, paid breaks)
• Competitive salary between £22,000 to £26,000 per annum (depending on experience)

What we need from our HR & Payroll Advisor;

• Ideally you will have or be willing to work towards your CIPD qualification
• Previous experience working as an HR Administrator/Assistant is essential for this role
• Exposure to CoolCare4, Talos ATS, eLearningForYou and BrightPay is preferred, however not essential
• You will have a strong attention to detail and a good knowledge of MS Office tools and AdobeSign
• Be highly confidential, trustworthy and discreet with the ability to deal sensitively and appropriately with confidential information
