About the Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Recruiter to support an innovative and mission-driven organization focused on improving the quality of life and economic well-being of people worldwide. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will coordinate and source high-quality local and global talent for Corporate services and International Development Programs within the Asia Pacific region. The position will promote a personalised, positive experience for all candidates and stakeholders, contributing to a strong employee value proposition and brand perception. The position will also ensure the consistent application of recruitment policies and procedures across the region. Key responsibilities will include:

Sourcing Local and Global Talent

• Coordinate and source high-quality local and global talent for Programs and corporate services within the region.
• Develop creative ideas and innovative recruiting techniques to source qualified professionals for difficult to fill roles.
• Coordinate external job postings and advertising across a variety of platforms; manage complex scheduling and coordinating interview logistics across multiple time-zones.
• Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment lifecycle and ensure timely communication with candidates, hiring managers, and vendors on the recruiting process and pending needs.
• Manage external recruiting sources, vendor agreements, candidate submission and invoice processing.
• Ensure stringent due diligence and vetting procedures to meet compliance of recruitment protocols aligned with requirements of government clients and Abt’s quality framework.
• Support Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion initiatives and promote inclusive hiring through outsourcing and recruitment processes.
• Support and contribute to HR technology transformation in partnership with the recruiting and HRIS team.
• Develop and facilitate periodic training for Recruiter Working Group members on the recruiting system and process as required.
• Builds the skills and commitment of hiring managers to follow best practices in all stages of the talent acquisition life cycle.

Recruitment reporting, guidelines and procedures

• Create and disseminate recruitment reports via Oracle HCM to provide strategic insights through metrics and dashboards.
• Review recruitment guidelines and procedures to ensure the consistent application of recruitment policies and procedures across the region.
• Continually assess the effectiveness of the recruitment process, researching best practices, conducting new-hire, and hiring manager feedback surveys, and utilising data to refine and improve the processes over time.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in recruitment systems and processes.

About You

We are seeking an individual who shares our values and is highly professional and agile, including:

• Extensive experience in sourcing high-quality local and global talent in professional services environment or similar; experience of recruitment in the international development sector a significant advantage.
• Sourcing savvy – the knowledge and experience of where the best candidates work and the ability to spot recruiting problems and guide managers toward solutions.
• Organizational skills – able to lead searches through methodical steps and adhere to timelines; ability to multitask and manage multiple searches for positions that are at different stages.
• Critical thinking skills – with ability to update and refine recruitment guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment with fluid deadlines.
• Knowledge of Oracle recruitment systems (or similar HCM) is desirable.
