We are currently seeking a Plant Manager for our Montreal facility with exceptional creative problem-solving and communication skill, plenty of initiative, and the ability to thrive both as an individual, and in a team environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify, review, design, improve, re-engineer and document process tasks and process flow requirements on an annual basis and/or when changes warrant. Endeavor to include flexibility and back-up requirements.
Lead all engineering within the facility.
Define and monitor process metrics to target improvements in internal customer satisfaction, productivity, cost, and quality.
Define and monitor the annual budget and goals; allocate resources.
Work with others process engineers and teams to decrease process-to-process handoffs and conflicts.
Teach and coach team members and other associates and teams as required.
Support and facilitate team decision making.
Work to maintain balance for the needs of our associates, company, and customers.
Qualified Candidates Will Possess the Following:
Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree and excellent understanding of engineering principles.
5-10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
5-10 years’ proven experience as a trustworthy, effective Team Leader.
Experience with electroplating and chemicals is a plus.
