Abiomed, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated professional education specialist to maintain and grow engagement with Abiomed’s professional education offerings.

Summary

This position will be responsible for managing monthly virtual and in-person educational programs in support of our innovative CAMP PCI and CAMP Heart Failure platforms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and is comfortable managing both online and offline educational programming.

Responsibilities

Partner with cross-functional teams to plan and execute professional education events, including:

Work with faculty to prepare content, agendas, and other event logistics

Partner with digital communications, video team, and events team to create invitations, webpages, videos and other assets

Ensure that events are promoted across physician-facing platforms, including web, email, and newsletters

Monitor RSVP and attendee lists

Prepare follow-up materials

Ensure post-event on-demand recordings are published to appropriate platforms

Coordinate additional event logistics as needed

Work closely with marketing, medical office and compliance to ensure all program-related content is approved for distribution

Provide project management oversight for program-related logistics

Collaborate with team members to achieve engagement goals

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

1+ years of experience in event management, professional education, or related field

Strong eye for detail

Problem-solving ability

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
