Founded in 1892, Aberystwyth University School of Education is one of the UK’s longest-established academic schools of education, with a proud tradition of delivering provision in undergraduate, Master’s and Initial Teacher Education. The School seeks to appoint an individual with teaching and scholarship interests in the area of childhood studies and education. The successful candidate will be an individual who has experience of teaching in a university environment and is able to work as part of a team.
For this post, we would be looking for someone with experience of teaching and assessing at undergraduate level. The successful candidate will contribute across the School of Education’s undergraduate teaching portfolio, namely BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies (with Early Year’s Practitioner Status); BA (Hons) Childhood Studies; and the BA (Honours) Education degrees schemes.
This is an exciting opportunity for those interested in developing a career in Higher Education at a time of considerable change. You will be actively involved in teaching, administration and continuing professional development. You will contribute to modules within specialist educational fields relevant to the degree schemes of the School. You will also undertake a number of administrative duties.
