Job Description
The Head of Finance Operations at Aberystwyth University will provide a professional and customer focused service across the full range of Finance department stakeholder interfaces. The post holder will be responsible for fostering and maintaining key relationships and ensuring clear and regular lines of communication to the Deputy Director of Finance, University committees and University Executive.
The Head of Finance Operations has operational oversight of the University’s financial accounting, receipts and payments systems, online platforms, tax & investment and statutory returns / reporting. The role includes legislative compliance, adherence to standards, processes, procedures and controls. The role also engages with internal customers and external regulatory bodies for collaboration and audit purposes.
