Aberdeen FC Community Trust is an award-winning charity, which provides support and opportunity to change lives for the better, across North East of Scotland.

AFCCT supports people in the community of all ages and backgrounds through Education and Employability, Community and Healthy Living programmes and initiatives. This school year we have programmes running in over 30 schools across the City and Shire working with both Primary and Secondary pupils.

We have 2 vacancies for full-time Education & Community Officers. This is a fixed term contract for a period of 16 months; however, it may lead to a permanent position.

As part of the Education Team, the successful candidates will deliver a number of programmes in our Partner Schools. The Education & Communities Officer will lead Education and Youth Work interventions at designated school(s), in partnership with Local Authorities and relevant stakeholders.

The successful candidate will also deliver non-term time activities by supporting holiday programmes providing extra support to young people in the community.
We welcome candidates from a variety of skillsets and career paths. Applicants should ideally have relevant knowledge and experience of working within an Education / Youth Work / Community Development setting.

The salary for this role is dependent on qualifications and/or experience.
