We have an opening for an energetic Data Entry Specialist to join our team.

We are Abel HR, founded in 1992, Abel HR is a family-owned and operated Professional Employer Organization (PEO) that offers human resources and benefits administration services to small to mid-size companies.

Job Description

• Inputting and maintaining accurate and up-to-date information into computer systems, databases, or spreadsheets.
• Ensuring accuracy of data by reviewing data for errors and inconsistencies before entering.
• Data entry and management of existing employee information to compute wages and deductions.
• Review wage computation and correct errors to ensure payroll accuracy.
• Verifying and editing data for completeness and accuracy.
• Retrieving and reviewing data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Generating s and performing basic data analysis using Excel and other software tools.
• Updating and maintaining electronic and hard copy filing systems.
• Communicating with team members and management to identify and resolve data discrepancies or issues.
• Managing time and completing assigned tasks within given deadlines.
• Maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive data.

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Experience working with confidential information with integrity and discretion.
• Must be enthusiastic and customer-service driven with high ethical standards.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree
• Payroll experience in a PEO environment
• Understanding of the PEO (Professional Employer Organization) industry, concept, and co-employment advantages/benefits.
