About the role

In 2020 we hired the first member of our inhouse executive search team and due to Abcam’s continued growth we are looking to increase our executive recruitment capability with hiring a Global Executive Researcher.

The Global Executive Researcher will report to the Global Talent Scout and will support with identifying, attracting, and hiring first class, diverse talent for Director level and above opportunities at Abcam. Executive search at Abcam sits within the Global Talent team (17 people) and our mission is to execute the majority of leadership recruitment inhouse, in turn driving quality of hire and candidate experience whilst building rich talent pipelines.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Support the Global Talent Scout to identify, attract and assess diverse talent for executive leadership roles at Abcam
• Own and build rich candidate pipelines through talent mapping
• Participate in briefing and progress meetings with stakeholders
• Deliver market mapping and research projects, globally
• Build extensive internal and external networks through multiple channels, including attending relevant global external meetings/conferences to meet and assess talent
• Build positive relationships with both hiring managers and candidates by promoting our employer brand and offering outstanding candidate care throughout the selection process
• Accurately track KPI’s and analyse data to ensure continuous incremental improvement
• Create candidate briefs and support with documentation from shortlist through to offer
• Proactively identify opportunities to enable internal mobility
• Help to drive Abcam’s D&I initiatives throughout executive recruitment processes
• Diary management & administration for executive recruitment including scheduling interviews, arranging international travel and coordinating assessments
• Collaborate with the wider talent acquisition and HR team

Qualifications

About you

You will be passionate about attracting first class, diverse talent. Possess outstanding communication skills, both verbally and in writing with the ability to produce reports, presentations and candidate briefs. Recruitment or Executive Search experience is not essential however a genuine interest in pursing a career in this space is essential.

You will be ambitious, driven and results focused and have the desire to grow your career in Talent Acquisition or in the broader HR function.
