ABB Real Estate is looking for a Receptionist to be based in the Burlington/Brampton area. Receptionist reporting to the local Facility Manager is a part of the facilities management team and provides general administrative and clerical services on department/program/local Business Unit level. Scope of work will include but not be limited to the following.
Your responsibilities
Prepares documentation and assists in researching, compiling, proof-reading and editing reports, presentations, organization charts, correspondence, etc.
Answers telephone enquiries and deals with both incoming and outgoing correspondence on behalf of the department.
Implements ABB processes and engages with other team members in continuous improvement of processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintains records/databases/filing systems/archives, in electronic and/or hard copy format.
Performs general administrative activities and provides back-up support for others in case of sickness/absence/workload.
Greeting guests/customers and coordinating their entry to the guest registration system.
Maintaining lobby HSE & Security policies.
Your background
5+ years’ experience as a receptionist
Solid knowledge of office software such as Microsoft Office
High level of organization and attention to detail
Professionalism
Internal communications
Good communication & interpersonal skills
Bilingual (French & English) preferred
