In this position, you will be responsible for supporting a manufacturing cell and piloting production improvement projects for the Manufacturing Cells of the Measurement and Analysis (PAMA) business segment in Quebec City. Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor, your objective will be to help improve production tools and deliverables in order to optimize costs, quality and product delivery times while determining the pace of work phases while respecting the budgets allocated to materials.

Your responsibilities

Supports daily operations with the objective of delivering on time and to the targeted quality (sales, purchasing, service, and others).

Acts as a technical reference for his field of expertise in production, particularly in mechanical design.

Suggests and implements improvement ideas in his/her technical field, in mechanical engineering and automation.

Supports improvement projects in production, in conjunction with the process specialist.

In collaboration with other manufacturing engineering specialists, supports and conducts problem investigations and corrections.

Implements and communicates engineering changes to production, including mechanical models, drawings and work instructions.

Defines new work methods and tools in his/her technical field and trains the cell personnel.

Your background
