As an IS Support Technician, you will join a dynamic environment as part of the ABB ELIP Division service team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced IT professionals. You will work in a manufacturing environment including administrative departments in various plants and offices. You will have the opportunity to work on multiple platforms including Windows, iSeries, SQL, Oracle, SAP and Cisco VOIP technology.

Your responsibilities

Provide local and remote technical support to customers, while promoting the highest quality customer experience.

Document and manage customer requests using the Unicenter Service Desk ticket tracking system, while prioritizing and proactively tracking open tickets.

Analyze, diagnose and resolve technical issues and escalate tickets to experts if necessary.

Provide basic training to customers on system functionality.

Work in a team environment.

Be available to travel, when needed, to support plants located on the South Shore, Montreal and West Island.

Your background

Have a college diploma in computer science.

Have 2 years of experience in technical support in a technical assistance environment.

Strong knowledge of Office products and Windows 365.

Excellent interpersonal skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills (English and French).

Self-starter with good analytical and problem solving skills.

Ability to understand written guidelines and procedures.

Well documented in English and French.

Excellent team player and ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with team members.
