AB Hires and Consulting LLC Hiring for Inventory Analyst at Manhattan, NY Full Time

A privately owned fine distribution jewelry company, located in Midtown Manhattan, specializing in engagement rings and bridal jewelry company is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Assistant Inventory Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing data using Microsoft Excel and other Inventory platforms, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring inventory levels are always sufficient to meet customer demand. In this position, you will be expected to monitor inventory levels, and track inventory movements. The company’s philosophy is simple: to provide every client with the perfect diamonds. Responsibilities:

• Execute daily inventory s by category to hand over to Inventory Analyst Manager
• Manage incoming flows by item, by category so that we are not over or under inventoried by product.
• Keep good balance of inventory using Microsoft Excel
• Analyze/ Inventory Statistics
• Collaborate with other departments
• Place purchase orders and manage order status
• Provide operational and administrative support to management
• Ensure timely and consistent communication with department head
• Assist account managers with any inventory needs.
• Complete recaps with management.
• Prepare inventory information for additional purchases if necessary.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous working experience as an inventory analyst for 1-3 years(s)
• 2-3 years of experience with Microsoft Excel and inventory management software
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Great attention to details
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Reliable and confidential
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and maintain attention to detail

Salary Expectation: 60K-70K
