Do you want a role where you can truly make a difference?

This isn’t a typical 9-5 role so flexibility on location is available, although we’d perceive some level of hybrid working initially to support your integration into our culture and ethos. We would be able to accommodate a home working contract as you’ll be reaching out to candidates in the evenings sometimes, or occasionally over the weekend, so you have some level of ownership over your own working structure, around 40 hours a week.

Please note that only candidates with specific and specialist recruitment experience will be considered.

Our head office is based just off junction 41of the M6, you will report to the Talent Acquisition Director.

• Manage the full interview process from sourcing to screening, coordinating interviews and closing candidates.
• Making sure all candidates have a fantastic experience with A Wilderness Way from initial engagement to joining the team.
• Find innovative ways to source new talent.
• Build solid relationships with the current staff teams and managers and encourage referrals of new staff.
• Arranging and coordinating individual interviews where appropriate and required.
• Initial applicant screening and interview prior to operational involvement to ensure that conversion targets are achieved and time to hire KPIs are monitored and stretch targets achieved as appropriate.
• Ensure that all processes are fit for purpose in relation to regulatory requirements for staff who work with looked after children and young people.
• Ensuring that all candidates have completed application forms and that all information is provided to interviewers as part of their interview packs including pre-screening outcome records.
• Ensuring that all employees joining the organisation have been assessed in line with safer recruitment practices through coordination with our Compliance Administrator and ensuring all appropriate interview paperwork is concluded and available.

Core deliverables:

• First point of contact for candidates from application stage. Ensuring that the candidate experience is market leading and contributes to the employee retention strategy. Initial sifting and coordinating and arranging interviews.
• Translating expressions of interest/CV submissions into applications through formal application form completion.
• Conducting first stage interview and presenting a robust short list of candidates for Registered Manager’s selection.
• Understanding what platforms are performing and working with the Talent Acquisition Director to improve return on investment.
• Deliver efficient and effective HR support in relation to recruitment and resourcing to the Talent Acquisition Director.
• Liaise with Registered Service Managers and Home Managers to ensure that their resource needs are understood and met.
• Weekly recruitment KPIs and Statistics, reporting into the Talent Acquisition Director with regards to resourcing. Drawing insights from statistical information and presenting recommendations.
• Attracting, sifting and arranging interviews with suitable candidates for all residential support worker vacancies across AWW Ltd.
• Coordinating recruitment and assessment centres.
• Ensuring a pipeline of talent into the organisation.

• Driven to stay motivated to see tasks through to completion in a high volume and fast paced changing environment.
• Passionate about what we do and the difference that our services make to looked after children and drive a culture where everything we do is focussed on the outcomes of children in our care.
• Form relationships at all levels within the organisation and effectively communicate across functional lines.
• Strong computer literacy required in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and use of a cloud-based HR self-service system and ATS system.
• Strong attention to detail, follow-up and commitment to accuracy.
• Possess the ability to work both alone and within a team.
