Finance Manager (MOW Division). This person will be responsible for financial oversite and analysis supporting manufacturing operations and often takes a leadership role in driving change. This includes asset management, performance analysis & optimization, investment analysis, etc., while providing accounting guidance.

Essential Functions:

• Management of the Division P&L, providing insight and analysis of drivers of performance
• Support month-end close activities, year end physical inventories and audit requirements
• Provide in depth variance analysis and explanation of deviation for budget, forecast, Year over Year, etc.
• Serve as Finance interface across multiple departments, acting as financial arm to the operations group.
• Assist the Plant leadership team with tracking of KPI’s for assessing functional performance and areas of opportunity for further cost reduction
• Manage forecasting process, working with plant managers and corporate personnel to ensure the integrity of consolidated budgets and forecasts.
• Develop data-driven, fact-based information to support decisions enabling productivity measures to reduce overall cost
• Provide financial justification (Return on Investment) and post-audits for Capital expenditures
• Provides accounting and financial guidance to plant management as needed
• Facilitates implementation of new financial policies, procedures and systems when needed
• Leads or participates in special projects to improve or enhance financial management and operational efficiencies for cross functional teams
• Periodic review of standard operating procedures (SOP’s) to ensure accuracy
• Perform periodic compliance testing to ensure internal/external controls are in place, report and deviations and corrective actions to ensure compliance
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or another quantitative/technical discipline is required.
• 5+ years professional experience in manufacturing or distribution, costing experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail, superior analytical capability, and excellent verbal and written communications a must
• Ability to recognize opportunities to simplify processes and create efficiencies
• Extremely strong analytical, problem-solving skills and business acumen
• Must possess strong prioritization skills; flexibility and ability to multi-task on a daily basis.
• Innovative and resourceful, embrace change and process improvement
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to lead people through change.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all departments, management levels within the company, and external stakeholders.
• Must be proficient in all MS Office programs, with advanced MS Excel skillset.
• SAP, or other large ERP systems preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
