Job Description
Are you a middle school science teacher looking for a creative outlet to earn some extra money? A Pass Educational Group is seeking writers and subject matter experts to create lesson content for Grades 6-8 science courses, especially Earth Science and Physical Science. Writers will be expected to author lesson content using provided blueprint information. Editorial support will be also provided.
This is a 100% remote, work-from-anywhere contract position.
Details:

• Contract, this is an independent contractor position
• Rates for this project average $20-$25/hour
• approximately 2-4 hours per day or 8-12 hours per week, maybe some weekends
• 100% remote, work from anywhere position
• An A Pass writing sample is required* to move forward in the application process*

Qualifications

• Grades 6-8 science classroom experience, course development experience, and assessment development experience a must!
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in elementary or secondary education, science, or similarly relevant subject area
• Classroom experience at grade level(s) is recommended; 3+ years of classroom experience preferred
• Previous experience writing benchmark-aligned content and assessment items preferred; 1+ years experience with curriculum development preferred
• Experience working with Google Docs preferred

This project is expected to run through December 2022. There is a potential for future projects, as well.
