This position will serve as a Healthcare Analyst to provide research and analysis support and to interpret healthcare policy to outline training and training materials.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develops training materials for internal subject matter experts and the Medicare Advantage industry.
• Monitors industry inquiries, drafts responses, and works with the client to get approvals and send through a mailbox tracking system.
• Performs technical assistance and research as requested by the client.
• Develops deliverables, such as job aids, User Guides, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Performs detailed business analysis, outlines problems, opportunities, and solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements/Experience:

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Strong critical thinking, writing, and communications skills.
• Strong time management skill with the ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time.
• 2+ years’ experience working as an analyst with healthcare policy experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of Medicare risk adjustment, risk scoring, and encounter data for Medicare Advantage (Part C) and Prescription Drug Plans (Part D), would be beneficial.
• Intermediate user of Excel, including creating pivot tables and pivot table graphics
• Knowledge of SharePoint would be strongly preferred.

Education:

• Required: bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
