A-One Construction Hiring for Accounting Assistant Job at San Leandro, CA Full Time

We are a midsize Roofing and Construction company and we are seeking a full-time Accounting Assistant. The right candidate will report to the Accounting Manager and perform general bookkeeping duties, including A/P, A/R, credit card and bank reconciliations and making sure that all company processes and procedures are adhered to. Knowledge of QuickBooks and excel is a must.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Handle Accounts Receivable duties, including communicating with customers and recording receipt of payment
• Track and apply customer payments
• Handle Accounts Payable duties, Maintaining Vendor/Supplier files (Paid and Open) including the payment of monthly business invoices
• Respond to supplier inquiries
• Record invoices in accounting software
• File and maintain paid invoices and other Finance documents
• Credit Card, Entering transactions and reconciling balances
• Other accounting and financial analysis projects
• Must be able to handle financial transactions honestly and confidentially

Assist Accounting Manager on projects as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $34.00 per hour
