A Hiring for Theatrical Distribution Accounting Intern (Remote) at Tonimbuk, Victoria, Australia Full Time

This internship is remote and we’re open to candidates from any location in the US.

Responsibilities

The A24 Theatrical Distribution Accounting Intern will learn first-hand about the process of releasing a film into theaters. They will be expected to assist at all stages of the release, but their main tasks will be within, but not limited to, the following four areas:

• Accounting: Assist in the accounts receivable process and apply payments
• Invoicing: Process and send statements while developing effective client relationships
• Box Office Tracking: Collect theatrical grosses from theaters and input s
• Research: Monitor trends and document weekly updates within the theatrical landscape

Qualifications

• A finger on the pulse of the ever-evolving entertainment industry, and an interest in learning more about theatrical accounts receivables
• A passion for numbers and film, attention to detail and strong Excel skills
• Adaptable, quick to grasp new softwares and systems
• A familiarity with the A24 brand, and knowledge of upcoming Spring/Summer releases
• A background in accounting or AR/AP is preferred but not required

Our internships are part-time roles with an hourly rate of $17.00. Actual pay will depend on various considerations, including: education, experience, skills, specializations, training, and business needs.
