About Us

D.L. Purvine, CPA, PLLC (DLP) is a fast-growing, fully remote public accounting firm with employees located in Colorado, Costa Rica, Indiana, Oklahoma and Wisconsin. DLP provides audit and consulting services for Architecture and Engineering (A/E) firms with revenues ranging from $1M to over $500M and located all over the country, from Alaska to Florida.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and perform approximately 15 audits within the allotted budget

• Provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations

• Ensure the information flow between the client and the audit team is efficient and serve as the primary point of contact for the client

• Coordinate all aspects of the audit process, from the planning phase all the way to report wrap-up and delivery

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting

• CPA license required

• 3-7 years of relevant public accounting or private industry (for-profit company) accounting or auditing experience

• Experience with audit planning, field work, preparing reports and communicating findings and recommendations to engagement managers

• Strong understanding of GAAP-basis accounting is critical. Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 31 is a plus, but not required

• Strong computer skills, including MS Office are critical. Experience with Prosystem Engagement audit software and A/E firm ERP systems is a plus

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience managing multiple clients, budgets and production goals

• Build positive client relationships

• Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment

Salary is commensurate with experience. This will be a salaried exempt position, and the need to work more than 40 hours per week at times to meet client deadlines and workload demands is a performance expectation for this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
