Would you like to work for a company that is as passionate about technology as you? Are you creative, logical, and innovative?
Consider joining the team!!! 4A Consulting, LLC is one of the fastest growing solutions delivery companies in Maryland, delivering on end-to-end Enterprise-wide information technology (IT) initiatives. We are growing the family and looking for highly qualified IT professionals to provide remote contract support in the federal and state government sectors.
Role: Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist
We are searching for a highly qualified Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This position requires a self-starter who is a collaborator within a matrixed organization. If you have not worked in consulting or for a small business, you should be prepared to push the boundaries of your expectation for a simple 9-5 workday.
4A offers a flexible schedule but expects core coverage between 10am to 4pm for focused recruiting activities. As a small business, our internal business meetings for recruiting and business development take place after 4pm – after the billable work is done. Your openness to attend meetings after business hours will be discussed and weighed carefully against your ability to use appropriate tools to communicate status to management. 4A management staff is decentralized geographically. We meet virtually. We do not require a local person for this position, but the candidate must be comfortable using Teams, leading a meeting as needed, and sharing documents online for status or reporting to management to answer questions or address hot requirements.
Your commitment to this role and the business will include your ability to:
· Prioritize and organize task and project assignments. Multiple client needs may arrive at the same time. It’s critical to collaborate with management to understand the priorities.
o Utilize appropriate recruitment resources (e.g., job search sites, LinkedIn, etc.) to find or post for the right candidate
o Review resumes for gaps, missing contact, or other information before forwarding to management
o Make first contact with a candidate to obtain the basics (salary, work authorization (e.g., citizen, Green Card, driver license or photo of candidate, etc.), availability, etc., and to ask questions that were raised with your review of the candidate’s resume
o Negotiate salary, if necessary (within parameters established by senior management), or coordinate negotiation with management
o Awareness of each project’s requirements, fee structure, internal and client due dates
o Search for the differentiator(s) in the job requisition or in the resume (technical resource to assist with this)
· Use available tools (ATS, Excel, PPT) to provide information/updates either on demand or as scheduled
o Maintain transparency and access for management (absence or succession planning is the CMMI way)
o Enter data or support the resource tasked to put candidate tracking data in the appropriate tool through their life cycle with 4A
o Organize, maintain, and expand internal data repository of candidate resumes for current and future position placements.
· Meet deadlines
· Assess and correct any ATS issues or needs after discussion with management
· Assist with maintenance of the CMMI tracking spreadsheet which is used in the scheduled CMMI audit
· Develop and provide training for junior resources as assigned, or use existing materials and update as necessary
· Coordinate with HR as candidates are hired
o Stay up to date on benefits that can be used to incentivize a candidate
Convey onboarding instructions to candidates and hand off to HR
