About the Role

Light Canvas Studio Inc. is seeking a passionate and creative Junior Animator to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Blender and a solid understanding of animation principles. You will be responsible for creating engaging animations while collaborating with the team to meet project goals and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine 3D animations using Blender.
• Animate characters, props, and scenes according to project requirements.
• Apply animation principles such as timing, spacing, anticipation, and weight.
• Work with existing character rigs and animation assets.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain quality and consistency across projects.
• Implement feedback and revisions efficiently.
• Organize project files and follow established production workflows.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Blender.
• Understanding of 3D animation fundamentals and animation principles.
• Ability to create smooth and appealing character animations.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Portfolio or demo reel showcasing animation work.
• Ability to work remotely during scheduled work hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship, freelance, or personal project experience in animation.
• Basic knowledge of rigging and camera animation.
