Job Summary
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Sales to oversee all aspects of our Brand & Retail sales and partnership strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of driving revenue growth, building strong relationships with retail partners, and implementing effective sales and business development strategies.
Responsibilities
Retail Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive retail sales strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business goals. This includes setting sales targets, forecasting, and developing sales plans for both retail partnerships and tech subscriptions.
Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate, and establish strategic partnerships, including Cannabis Dispensaries to increase distribution outlets, technology subscriptions, and “best in class” cannabis brands nationwide to increase sales & distribution opportunities within our portfolio.
Brand Sales & Distro Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and distribution strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business goals. This includes setting sales targets, forecasting, and developing sales plans.
Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, mentoring, and guidance to achieve sales targets and foster professional growth.
Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies and customer service. Monitor key performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed financial targets and increase product orders and technology subscriptions.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about cannabis industry & market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, as well as current & future brands, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and ensure optimization of our services, systems, and products.
Product Management: Work closely with Technology and Brand teams to understand value propositions, and provide customer or user feedback & insights to optimize product offerings and data analysis opportunities.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the retail sales and partnerships budget, optimizing resources to achieve the desired outcomes.
Compliance: Ensure all sales and partnership activities adhere to industry regulations and company policies.
This position will work onsite at our office in downtown Chicago.
