Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Full Time

Here at Ryland Land Rover Stoke, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to join our well-established team. All our staff are incredibly experienced and knowledgeable about the vehicles that we work on so are always on hand to provide help and lend expertise for anything our customers need.

*The main duties of a Vehicle Technician/ Mechanic:*

· Accurately complete job cards reporting any additional work that needs to be carried out

· Provide regular updates to the workshop Controller/Service Advisors

· Carry out routine service work as per manufacturer guidelines

· Complete pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles

· Diagnose and fault finding – Reporting all findings

· Inspecting components for wear and tear

· Supporting other technicians when needed

· Creating VHC videos for the customer

*Skills required for this Vehicle Technician role:*

· Level 2 Qualification or above

· MOT license would be an advantage but not essential

· Must hold a valid driving license

· Written and verbal communication skills

Monday to Friday (40 Hour week)

We also operate an optional 4 day rota, 7:30am – 6:00pm with the ability to work the 5th day as overtime.

The annual basic salary for this Vehicle Technician role will be based on experience Basic salary of £32,000 to £40,000 with a competitive bonus scheme & overtime available – TBD at interview stage
