We are looking to bring on a founding creative partner to help shape the voice, storytelling, and content strategy of a global creative company from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to craft the narratives, brand language, and original IP that define our company and resonate with our audiences.

This is an equity partner role. That means:

• No upfront cash compensation
• Equity at founding partner level (standard vesting)
• Potential token-based rewards (pending legal approvals)

We’re not looking for someone to “fill in the gaps” of our content. We’re looking for someone to design it, own it, and elevate it. This is for a writer/copywriter who thrives in ambiguity, can translate complex ideas into clear and compelling language, and understands that words are strategic tools for shaping perception, engagement, and community.

Overview

As an experienced Writer / Copywriter, you will own and produce clear, consistent written content across our company. This role focuses on translating ideas, products, and updates into straightforward language for external and internal audiences. It also includes creative writing and narrative development. You’ll write for our website, marketing channels, PR and announcements, internal communications, social platforms, developing lore and writing narratives for our original IP. This is a hands-on writing role, not a management position.

What You’ll Own

• Write and edit website content, including landing pages, product pages, and updates.
• Create marketing copy for blog posts, emails, social media, and campaigns.
• Support PR and communications, including press releases, announcements, and talking points.
• Write internal communications such as company updates, memos, and documentation.
• Develop narratives, stories, and lore for our original IP.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and leadership to understand messaging needs.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice across all written materials.
• Revise and proofread content based on feedback and performance.
• Organize and manage multiple writing projects with clear deadlines.

What We’re Looking For

• 3 to 6 years of professional writing or copywriting experience (please link/submit a portfolio).
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Experience writing for multiple formats and audiences.
• Ability to simplify complex ideas without losing meaning.
• Comfortable working with feedback from different stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Experience working in startups, tech, media, or creative industries is a plus.

Preferred

• Basic understanding of SEO and content optimization.
• Experience supporting PR, brand, or corporate communications.
• Familiarity with content management systems and collaboration tools.
• Experience using analytics tools to evaluate content performance and inform decisions
• Understanding of social media trends, hooks, and audience engagement strategies
• Familiarity with CRM or content scheduling tools
• Portfolio or writing samples showing a range of formats.
