**Key Responsibilities:**

– **Prepare Detailed Estimates:** Analyze project plans and specifications to create accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment needed for construction.

– **Conduct Site Visits:** Visit job sites to gather data and understand project specifics, ensuring estimates reflect actual conditions and requirements.

– **Review Tender Documents:** Examine and interpret bid documents to identify and address any discrepancies or missing information.

– **Collaborate with Project Managers:** Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure budgets align with project planning and execution.

– **Update Cost Database:** Maintain and update a cost database to enhance the accuracy of future estimates based on past project performance.

– **Present Estimates:** Prepare and present cost estimates to management and clients, providing clear explanations of the basis for costs.
