About The Position
Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring an Echocardiology Technician for a full-time acute care role in Hot Springs, Arkansas within a cardiology services department. This position involves performing echocardiography procedures in an acute care setting, working within a cardiology services team, and supporting physicians with diagnostic imaging.
Requirements
- Cardiac Sonography training REQUIRED
- BLS certification REQUIRED
- Strong critical thinking and ability to work independently REQUIRED
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress clinical environment REQUIRED
Nice To Haves
- Echo Registry certification preferred OR registry-eligible (must obtain within one year)
- Carotid training preferred
- Associate’s Degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform ECHO procedures according to professional standards
- Review patient history and prepare patients for procedures
- Educate patients on procedures
- Administer contrast media when ordered
- Monitor patient status during procedures
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment
- Ensure safety and quality control standards
- Analyze imaging results and address quality concerns
- Enter and transmit reports and scan results
