About The Position
St. Austin is looking for an after-school care provider to supervise students (PK-8) between the hours of 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm. This role supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school, acting as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church. The employee will support and adhere to the Code of Conduct and policies and procedures of the school. This position is closely connected to and assists the School leaders in the performance of their ministry and, therefore, engages in ministry for the Church.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Valid Texas Driver’s license
- Must maintain compliance with the Diocese of Austin Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) policies throughout the employment period.
- Must submit an Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) Application for Ministry within the first week of employment, participate in an EIM Basic abuse prevention training workshop within 30 days of submitting a complete Application for Ministry, and maintain EIM compliance during the entire term of employment.

Responsibilities
- Supervises children for safety and appropriate behavior.
- Assists with homework.
- Assists with record keeping.
- Requires students to obey rules.
- Uses accepted discipline procedures.
- Knows all emergency procedures including location of emergency phone numbers, building evacuation procedures, and student emergency health information.
- Assist with maintenance of all student and parent sign in and out.
- Assists with proper use of equipment, grounds, and buildings.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director or principal.
